Meet the new Director of the Doña Ana County Information Technology (IT) Department, Kent English!
English began his career at Texas Instruments where he supported global datacenter operations and system automation. Prior to joining Doña Ana County, he served as the Director of IT for Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage where he directed the operations and application teams supporting the University infrastructure and creating technical solutions.
Kent holds a bachelor's and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Dallas, as well as being a Cisco certified Cyber Operations Associate. He will oversee the operation of the IT Department, which provides the services of computer equipment and telecommunications operation and maintenance for all county offices.
