February is Spay and Neuter Awareness Month! By spaying or neutering your pet, you can help control the pet homelessness crisis, which results in millions of healthy dogs and cats being euthanized in the United States each year, simply because there aren’t enough homes to go around.
Doña Ana County proudly supports the Spay & Neuter Action Program (SNAP) to help provide low-income families living in unincorporated areas of the county with free spay and neuter services. To see if you qualify, visit www.snapnewmexico.org.
