Las Cruces Public Schools announces summer meal program starting June

As the 2023-2024 school year concludes, Las Cruces Public Schools (LCPS) is set to launch its Summer Meal Program to ensure students have access to nutritious meals during the break. The last day of school is Friday, May 31, 2024, with early release scheduled as follows:

- Elementary schools: 11 a.m.

- White Sands School: 11 a.m.

- Middle schools: 12:15 p.m.

- Rio Grande Preparatory Institute: 11:35 a.m.

- Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy: 11:35 a.m.

- High schools: 11:45 a.m.

The LCPS Summer Meal Program will commence on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Meals will be served at Las Cruces High School, Organ Mountain High School, Mayfield High School, Loma Heights Elementary, and Mesilla Park Elementary. Breakfast will be available from 8 to 10 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program is free and open to children ages one to eighteen.
