Doña Ana County reports early voting turnout ahead of primary election

Early voting has concluded as preparations continue for the 2024 Primary Election. Saturday, June 1 marked the final day for early voting. Unofficial participation numbers indicate approximately 5,501 early ballots and 1,972 absentee ballots have been cast. As of Monday morning, 7.9% of eligible voters in Doña Ana County have participated.

The last opportunity to vote in the 2024 Primary Election will be on Election Day, June 4. A total of 42 locations will be available throughout Doña Ana County. For a complete list of Voting Convenience Centers, visit DACElections.com.

Registered voters who applied for absentee voting can still return their absentee ballots at any of the nine Secured Container Locations across the county or at any Voting Convenience Center on Election Day. The list of Secured Container Locations is available at DACElections.com. Voters can track their absentee ballot status online at NMVote.org.

Unofficial results for this year’s election will be posted after 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, June 4, on the New Mexico Secretary of State’s website: https://www.sos.nm.gov/election-results-2024/. All results remain unofficial until state certification at the end of June.
