A community event aimed at supporting local schools and students will take place on July 13, 2024, at Las Cruces International Airport. The "Stuff the Bus +Plus Youth Centered Fair" will feature local vendors, food trucks, hands-on activities for families, educational booths, a car show, Young Eagle Flights, live music, and more.
The initiative aims to collect school supplies by stuffing a bus, a plane, and an automobile. In lieu of an entrance fee, attendees are encouraged to donate school supplies to meet the goal of filling all modes of transportation to capacity.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is presented by Memorial Medical Center and First Financial Credit Union. Bravo Mic Communications is coordinating the fundraiser campaign in collaboration with the community to support students and teachers of Las Cruces Public Schools.
For sponsorships, vendor opportunities or volunteer positions, interested parties can contact Bravo Mic Communications at 575-527-1111. Additional sponsors include Nusenda Credit Union providing a photo booth and Mountain View Regional Medical Center offering a bounce house.
