Drone footage on Thursday revealed ongoing progress at Columbia Elementary School, the latest addition to Las Cruces Public Schools. Construction crews are currently working on placing concrete on the building's lower level and erecting block walls.
The new school will feature over 103,000 square feet of learning space and is designed to accommodate 752 students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The projected completion date coincides with the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
