New Mexico State University (NMSU) has been ranked 27th among the top 50 Best Value Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) for International Students, according to a study by Study Abroad Aide. This organization is recognized as the largest and most comprehensive database of universities globally.
The ranking by Study Abroad Aide considers two primary metrics: academic quality, which accounts for 75% of the weight, and cost of education, comprising the remaining 25%. NMSU's placement within the top 11% highlights its standing not only in terms of value but also in providing high-quality education at a reasonable cost.
“This recognition from Study Abroad Aide validates that we offer programs of very high quality without placing excessive financial burden on students,” said Lakshmi Reddi, interim Provost. “NMSU attracts top students from around the world. The cultural diversity our international students bring to campus is very much valued by our faculty, staff, and students.”
Hispanic-Serving Institutions are defined as those with a significant number of Hispanic enrollments over the years in higher education offerings. The full list of rankings can be viewed at https://studyabroadaide.com/best-value-institutions-hispanic-serving-institutions/.
