Parents, students, and community members in Las Cruces are encouraged to plan for multiple events scheduled on November 1 at the Las Cruces Public Schools Field of Dreams complex. The LCPS Athletics Department announced that the last regular football season game between Centennial High School and Las Cruces High School is expected to attract many fans, participants, and booster clubs. Consequently, parking will be limited to one space per vehicle, with recreational vehicles prohibited. Attendees must adhere to the LCPS clear bag policy and note that no pop-up shade tents are allowed in any parking lot. Pedestrian traffic inside the stadium between the east and west sides will also be restricted.

Simultaneously, playoff soccer games will occur at the soccer complex. Additionally, the district is hosting its inaugural Roadrunner Rally Grill and Thrill high school BBQ contest from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Field of Dreams baseball complex. This event is open to the public with FFA students grilling St. Louis-style spareribs and chicken while FCCLA students prepare sides and a dessert. The winner will be announced during halftime of the Centennial/Las Cruces football game.

BBQ cookoff attendees should park within the gated area at 2300 Tashiro Dr., while football game attendees are advised to use parking lots on either side of the stadium—Centennial fans on the west (home team) near the press box, and Las Cruces fans on the east (visitors). Soccer fans should use dirt lots north of Fields 1 and 2, with overflow parking for Grill and Thrill at the southernmost end of the stadium's east side lot.

Motorists in this area along Tashiro Road and Motel Boulevard are urged to watch for pedestrians, obey speed limits, and exercise caution.
