Las Cruces Public Libraries will host a First Saturday Movie Marathon featuring three films from Tyler Perry's Madea series. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Kiva Room in Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, located at 200 E. Picacho Ave on Roadrunner Transit Route 1.

The marathon will start at 10:30 a.m. with a family reunion-themed movie. At 12:30 p.m., the second film will involve a storyline about someone hiding from the mob. The final movie, which has a Christmas theme, will begin at 2:45 p.m. All movies are rated PG-13.

The library emphasizes that the movie marathon is free and open to the public. Attendees are allowed to bring light snacks for their enjoyment during the screenings. Those interested in knowing the specific titles of the films can refer to the Public Libraries online calendar.

Individuals who require accommodations due to disabilities are advised to contact the library at (575) 528-4102 at least two days before the event.
