Las Cruces Utilities will temporarily close its offices on November 1, 2024, for a departmental safety and team-building event. The closure will occur from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all Las Cruces Utilities (LCU) locations, including City Hall at 700 N. Main St., East Mesa at 5195 Bataan Memorial West #2, and the LCU Office Center at 680 N. Motel Blvd.

Despite the closure, customers can still make utility payments for gas and water in person at a temporary cashier's counter located in the Business Registration office on the first floor of City Hall, 700 N. Main St.

Customers are encouraged to handle any utility-related business such as hookups or disconnections earlier in the week or after 3 p.m. on November 1 to accommodate this temporary closure.

For further information about utilities, inquiries can be sent via email to [email protected].
