Las Cruces Public Libraries is hosting a Spy Movie Marathon on January 4, 2024. The event will feature the first films in several long-running spy series and will take place in the Kiva Room at the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library. The library is located on RoadRUNNER Transit route 1.
The marathon starts with a classic film from 1962 starring Sean Connery, rated PG. Following this, a movie based on a television show featuring Tom Cruise will be screened at 1 p.m. At 3 p.m., a film adapted from Robert Ludlum's book series will be shown. The last two movies have a PG-13 rating.
Attendance is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to spend the day and may bring light snacks. Movie titles can be found on the library's calendar of events at https://las-cruces.assabetinteractive.com/calendar/.
Future First Saturday Movie Marathons include themes such as Valentine's Day romances on February 1, 2025, and a selection of films from the 1980s on March 1, 2025.
