Las Cruces Fire Department responded to a fire incident on the 4500 block of Nambe Arc at around 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025. The report indicated that two individuals were trapped inside the building. Upon arrival, firefighters found a room engulfed in flames and managed to control the fire within approximately ten minutes.
Eighteen firefighters and investigating personnel attended to the scene. The two occupants were taken to a local hospital for injuries they suffered while escaping from the burning structure. The cause of the fire and damage estimates are still under investigation.
