Las Cruces Utilities has teamed up with Bellomy Research to conduct a customer survey among residential natural gas customers in Las Cruces. The survey is being distributed via email, and participants are encouraged to provide feedback on their natural gas service.
Customers interested in participating should look for the email invitation and complete the survey. For further information, individuals can contact the Las Cruces Utilities Department at [email protected] or by calling 575/541-2111. A TTY number is also available at 575/541-2182.
April marks Safe Digging Month, reminding residents to call 811 for locating and mapping underground utilities. This initiative aims to ensure safety during digging activities.
Additionally, various community programs are underway in Las Cruces. These include the Lush and Lean program, which assists residents in optimizing water use through gardening initiatives. The City of Las Cruces is collaborating with local schools and job centers to facilitate career readiness for high school students.
The OIR Group will host a community outreach meeting as part of its audit of the Las Cruces Police Department. Furthermore, a new latch system for trash carts will be implemented by the city's utilities department over the next 18 months.
