Family assistance center offers free services after Young Park incident

The Family Assistance and Resource Center is set to continue offering free services for those affected by the recent shooting at Young Park. The center will operate from noon to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, March 26-28, 2025, at Amador Live, located at 302 S. Main St. in downtown Las Cruces.

Services available at the Family Assistance and Resource Center include crisis and spiritual counseling, financial aid for victims, and therapy dogs for emotional support.

For those needing transportation to Amador Live, the Essential Services line can be reached by dialing 211. Additionally, Roadrunner Transit is providing zero-fare rides throughout Las Cruces.
