SIERRA COUNTY: Public Hearing re: Direct Deposit

Sierra County recently issued the following announcement. 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sierra County Board of Commissioners will hold a meeting on June 18, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the Sierra County Ordinance No. 20-002 an ordinance providing for the automatic direct deposit of salary or wages into employer’s accounts. The Ordinance will be considered by the Board of County Commissioners for Final Passage at a regular meeting to follow the public hearing, on June 16, 2020, at 10:00 AM. The public hearing and commission meeting will be held at the Sierra County Commission Chambers, located at 855 Van Patten, T or C, NM 87901.

Written comments can be emailed to sbartoo@sierraco.org, or mailed to 855 Van Patten, T or C, NM 87901, no later than June 15th, 2020 by 4:00 p.m.

Copies are also available for public inspection at the Office of the County Clerks, at 100 N. Date Street, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901, and the County Administration, at 855 Van Patten, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901. Copies of the proposed Ordinance may be purchased by the public from either office for .50 cents a page.
