Seven aggravated assaults reported on New Mexico State University-Dona Ana campus in 2017

There were 7 on-campus aggravated assaults in 2017 on the campus of New Mexico State University-Dona Ana, located in Las Cruces, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) website.

In 2016, there were 9 aggravated assaults on the campus; and in 2015, there were 11 aggravated assaults. Overall, in the three year period from 2015 through 2017, 22 percent of on-campus aggravated assaults happened in residence halls. The following table shows how many of these on-campus criminal offenses were committed in residence halls:
