Computer literacy classes offered by Las Cruces Public Libraries in October

Las Cruces Public Libraries are offering a series of computer literacy classes throughout October. These classes aim to help beginners become more familiar with technology. The sessions cover a range of topics from basic skills to advanced functions, such as Excel spreadsheets. Each class operates independently, and no registration is required. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to secure a laptop for hands-on practice.

The schedule for October includes:

- Basic Computer Skills: Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. to noon at Munson Senior Center, Room 3.

- Internet Basics and Safety: Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library's Computer Training Classroom.

- Manage Your Files and Digital Pictures: Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library's Computer Training Classroom.

- Smart Phone Basics: Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to noon at Munson Senior Center, Meeting Room 3.

- Your Email Questions Answered: Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library's Computer Training Classroom.

- Internet Basics and Safety: Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to noon at Munson Senior Center's Meeting Room 3.

- MacBook Basics: Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library's Computer Training Classroom.
