A potential quorum of the New Mexico State University Board of Regents may occur from December 12 to 14, as regents are expected to attend various social and commencement-related events.
On Thursday, December 12, there will be an athletics recognition luncheon at noon at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, which is by invitation only. Later that day, a dinner will take place at La Posta de Mesilla at 6:30 p.m., also by invitation.
Friday's schedule includes an Outstanding Graduates luncheon at noon in the Stan Fulton Athletic Center. At 4 p.m., there will be an honorary degree reception at the Pan American Center, followed by a graduate commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. in the same venue.
The events conclude on Saturday, December 14 with an undergraduate commencement ceremony scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Pan American Center.
It is noted that "no votes or other official actions will be taken by the NMSU Board of Regents" during these events.
