Las Cruces Public Libraries are offering a series of free computer literacy classes throughout March. These sessions, aimed at adults seeking to improve their digital skills, will be held at both the Munson Senior Center and Thomas Branigan Memorial Library.

Classes at the Munson Senior Center will occur every Monday from 10 a.m. to noon in Meeting Room 3. The schedule includes "Basic Computer Skills" on March 3, "Internet Basics and Safety" on March 10, "Email Basics" on March 17, "Windows 11 Basics" on March 24, and "iPad Basics" on March 31.

Meanwhile, Thomas Branigan Memorial Library will host classes every Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Computer Training Classroom on the second floor. Sessions include "MacBook Basics" on March 4, another round of "Windows 11 Basics" on March 11, "Internet Basics and Safety" again on March 18, and finally, "Manage Your Files and Digital Pictures" on March 25.

The library advises that no registration is necessary for these classes; however, space and laptops may be limited. Attendees can bring their own laptops if preferred.

For more information about these offerings or to request alternative formats or accommodations for disabilities, interested individuals can contact Vicki Simkins at Las Cruces Public Libraries by calling (575) 528-4002 or emailing [email protected].
