Thomas Branigan Memorial Library is set to host its Spring Gardening Workshop on March 15, 2025. The event will run from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the library located at 200 E. Picacho Ave.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about seed saving, practice making newspaper pots, and create their own seed balls for spreading native flowers. The workshop will also introduce participants to the Seed Library and provide access to a selection of gardening books to help jumpstart their spring gardens.
The event will feature craft activities suitable for all ages, along with presentations and booths organized by community gardening partners. Weather permitting, the workshop will be held outdoors, as well as in the Children’s Craft Room and the Roadrunner Room within the library.
