Firefighters in Las Cruces responded to a fire early Tuesday morning that damaged a shed behind a medical facility on South Telshor Boulevard. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on March 11, 2025, when crews were dispatched to the scene located in the 1200 block of South Telshor Boulevard.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the detached shed engulfed in flames. They quickly applied water to control the blaze and successfully prevented it from spreading to the main structure of the facility. Despite their efforts, an awning nearby and a piece of equipment sustained heat damage.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, and damage estimates have not yet been determined.
