Doña Ana County Salutes One of Our Key Partners in Their Efforts During the COVID-19 Pandemic

This week, Doña Ana County salutes one of our key partners in their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City of Las Cruces provided the Las Cruces Convention Center as a vaccination site, along with volunteers and paid staff to assist in vaccinations. The first vaccination Point of Distribution at the Convention Center was held on January 14, 2021, and the last was held on July 22, 2021. Within that timeframe, 37,595 doses of vaccine were administered at that site. This site was truly instrumental in reaching the community, particularly on days where rain and high winds prevented outdoor vaccinations.

Doña Ana County Salutes the City of Las Cruces. Thank you for providing shelter that enabled us to magnify our COVID-19 efforts in the community.
