Las Cruces Public Schools (LCPS) is seeking feedback from parents, students, staff, and the community on budget priorities through its annual budget survey. The survey, available in both English and Spanish, will remain open until January 31, 2025.

The LCPS Community Budget Survey was launched on December 1. It is the result of efforts by the Budget Survey Committee, which includes teachers, parents, district administrators, and community members. This committee was responsible for finalizing the survey to gather public input on spending priorities within the district. For fiscal year 2025, LCPS's budget sources amounted to approximately $634 million.

Public meetings to review data collected from the survey and discuss recommendations for the final LCPS budget will be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 26 and May 7, 2025. These meetings will take place in the boardroom at the Dr. Karen M. Trujillo Administration Complex. Those unable to attend can watch a livestream of the meetings.
