Fun Fact: did you know that women were many of the first computer programmers?
These students in grades 5-8 at the Las Cruces Academy came to show us their findings from a study they did on high temperatures in our area. Their teacher, Dr. Vince Gutschick, said this project grew out of a Python computer programming class and using their coding, the students were able to find the probability of any temperature during a 30-day interval!
