Las Cruces Public Libraries will host a free movie screening just before Halloween, aimed at providing scares for both adults and children. The event is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. on Friday, October 26, in the Roadrunner Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, located at 200 E. Picacho Ave., along Roadrunner Transit Route 1.

The featured film is a Tim Burton-directed movie from 1988 starring Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Michael Keaton, and Winona Ryder. This PG-rated film runs for 92 minutes. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages, with food trucks available in the parking lot prior to the start of the movie.

The library will close its doors at 6 p.m., locking entry by 6:15 p.m., so attendees should plan to arrive early and be inside before that time. Further details about the movie title can be found on the library's online calendar.

For more information regarding this event, contact Deanna Duffy, Librarian, at (575) 528-4005 or via email at [email protected]. Those requiring disability accommodations should call the library at (575) 528-4102 at least two days in advance.
