Las Cruces Public Libraries will host a free movie screening just before Halloween, aimed at providing scares for both adults and children. The event is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. on Friday, October 26, in the Roadrunner Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, located at 200 E. Picacho Ave., along Roadrunner Transit Route 1.
The featured film is a Tim Burton-directed movie from 1988 starring Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Michael Keaton, and Winona Ryder. This PG-rated film runs for 92 minutes. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages, with food trucks available in the parking lot prior to the start of the movie.
The library will close its doors at 6 p.m., locking entry by 6:15 p.m., so attendees should plan to arrive early and be inside before that time. Further details about the movie title can be found on the library's online calendar.
