Annual tree lighting ceremony set for December at Plaza de Las Cruces

The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled for December 7, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the downtown Plaza de Las Cruces. The event aims to foster community spirit during the holiday season. Attendees can enjoy live performances by Organ Mountain High School Jazz Band and NMSU’s official cover band, Proud Pete.

Mayor Eric Enriquez will light the tree at 7 p.m., marking the official start of the holiday season.
