Las Cruces traffic team wins ITS Champion Award

The City of Las Cruces Traffic Management Program team has been honored by the Intelligent Transportation Society of New Mexico (ITSNM) for its work in signal maintenance operations and field staff. The recognition was part of ITSNM's annual meeting held on October 16, 2024, in Albuquerque. This year's meeting focused on the theme "Investing in Safety."

ITSNM is an organization that promotes technologies aimed at enhancing the safety, security, and efficiency of New Mexico's surface transportation system. The City staff received the ITS Champion Award for their dedication and commitment to the intelligent transportation systems industry. This year, the award recognized all ITS and Signal Maintenance operations and field staff across the state, including those from Las Cruces.
