Fraud prevention presentation hosted by Las Cruces Public Libraries and AARP

Las Cruces Public Libraries and AARP are set to host a presentation on fraud prevention this Wednesday, October 23, 2024. The event will take place at 2 p.m. in the Roadrunner Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, located at 200 E. Picacho Ave on Roadrunner Transit Route 1.

The session is open to anyone who has been approached with fraudulent offers or has experienced identity theft. The AARP Fraud Watch Network aims to empower consumers by providing resources and tools to help identify and prevent identity theft and fraud. Attendees will receive updated information on fraud trends and tips for safeguarding themselves and their families.
